Reviews
Delicious food and good service personnel. Will be back!
We had a poor experience at this restaurant. When I made the booking I specifically asked for a table next to the children’s play area which they confirmed would be done. When we reached the restaurant we were told since you have a toddler, you need to sit in the trattoria where you would be served a limited menu (not the degustation menu as indicated on the website). This was not communicated to me while making the booking. For starters we ordered a caprese salad which was well made. For drinks we ordered a martini for myself which was served to me in a whisky glass! For the main course we ordered a salami piccante pizza and a tortellini with hazel nuts and mozarella cheese, both the dishes were nothing to speak of, frankly my tortellini tasted weird! For the dessert we had a chocolate gooey cake with vanilla ice cream which was good.
The service was very poor, they took long to get our food order on the table and later on the bill.
Overall a disappointing experience for the price we paid. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant (the trattoria part of it) to anyone.
Lockdown solidarity takeaway menu. Steak sandwich with truffle fries and a glass of Malbec. Great offer, delicious taste and close to pick up. I admire the people in the Freilager that crushed the capacity the first evening by showing so much solidarity to the local neighbors.
Steak and wine great as always, but scallop starter was quite poor.
Secluded location away from noise and traffic, cozy atmosphere, normal prices for Zürich, or even a bit higher than average. I would have expected something more from the food; both the amouse-bouche and the "Risotto d'été" were tasty, but definitely the generous amount of salt masked their true taste.
Nice place for business lunch. Fish was amazing
Very classy location and well done dishes. Perfect for a meeting or dinner with style and very few wishes left menuwise.
Really nice and good restaurant within the Freilager. Good wine selection, friendly staff, really good meat. Be advised the parking is not free but you have to pay.
